The Muhlenberg County School System serves over 4300 students from Preschool through Grade 12. There are five elementary schools, one middle schools, one high school, an alternative school that serves middle and high school students, and a technology center. We also partner with the Muhlenberg County Career Center in providing education and career training for our students. We are a district committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Our district provides a clean, orderly and safe environment, efficient transportation of students, nutritious meals and financial assistance to all schools. |

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Keeps the Principal fully informed of any activities and/or problems concerning the school counseling program
Serves as an advocate for all students
Provides mental health services to students
Has knowledge of how to screen and monitor interventions for students
Provides for all students the opportunity to see a counselor and avails himself/herself of his/her services
Administers and helps coordinate various mandated and other testing programs and assessment tools
Promotes a positive, non-threatening school environment which actively stimulates the involvement of all stakeholders |
