The Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) Coach provides job-embedded instructional coaching and professional
learning to teachers, administrators, and school teams to improve academic and functional outcomes for students
with disabilities. The coach partners with schools to strengthen the implementation of specially designed
instruction, evidence-based instructional practices, inclusive services, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and
high-quality Individualized Education Program (IEP) implementation. The SDI Coach is a non-evaluative
instructional leader whose primary responsibility is building educator capacity through coaching, modeling,
collaborative planning, data analysis, and professional learning. |
