DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The principal has the responsibility of seeing that all employees under direct supervision fulfill their working obligations regarding time and efficiency to the best of their ability. This includes any employee who is paid an additional salary above his/her base as an extra-service increment.
Shall under the supervision of the Superintendent be responsible for the general management and discipline of his/her school and for the care and use of the building, grounds, and all equipment.
Shall be responsible for the management of all public funds handled in the school. The principal shall maintain an adequate internal accounting system and provide an annual financial report to the Board.
Shall develop a comprehensive program of public relations.
Shall be responsible to see that all unauthorized persons are restricted from school grounds during school days and all school functions.
