| Description |
Under the direction of the Associate Commissioner of the Office of Special Education and Early Learning (OSEEL) and the Director of the Division of State Schools, the Principal provides leadership in planning, directing, and coordinating educational, residential, recreational, and vocational programs. Responsibilities include leading administrative, instructional, and support staff; supervising and evaluating personnel; overseeing facilities, property, finances, and budget reporting; coordinating curriculum, instructional programs, and partnerships with colleges, universities, career and technical education, and vocational rehabilitation; overseeing residential student development and food service programs; supporting extracurricular activities; assisting with staff training; developing and monitoring policies and procedures; representing the school at meetings and events; collaborating with families and community partners; and performing other duties as assigned. |
