Overview of Responsibilities:
The homebound teacher, in collaboration with school and district staff, shall facilitate instruction for the student placed on homebound. The teacher is expected to execute board and administrative policies related to homebound services and keep appropriate records to document student progress and attendance. The teacher is expected to communicate with various members of the school (attendance clerk, teacher, DPP, etc.) regarding services, as well as work with the student's parents/guardians. Homebound services may be provided in various locations, including at the student's home.
