Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging Health and PE instruction aligned with Kentucky standards; assessing student progress; maintaining records; creating a safe, inclusive learning environment; supervising physical activities; promoting teamwork and sportsmanship; collaborating with staff, parents, and the school community; and participating in professional development. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Physical Education, or a related field; valid Kentucky teaching certification in Health and Physical Education; knowledge of state standards and best practices; strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills; commitment to diversity and inclusion; middle school experience preferred; and First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain. |
