Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Under the direction of the Associate Commissioner of the Office of Special Education and Early Learning and the Director of the Division of State Schools, the Principal provides leadership for the educational, residential, recreational, and vocational programs for all students. Responsibilities include leading administrative, instructional, and support staff; supervising and evaluating personnel; overseeing facilities, property, budgets, and funds; coordinating curriculum and instructional development; collaborating with colleges, universities, career and technical education, and vocational rehabilitation agencies; overseeing residential and food service programs; coordinating extracurricular and extended learning activities; assisting with staff training; developing and monitoring policies/procedures; representing the school at meetings/events; collaborating with families, community groups, and education partners; other duties assigned |
