Science Hill Independent School District is a unique preschool-eighth grade public school district located in Science Hill, Kentucky. The school was established in 1894 as a Legal Graded School and soon became the heart of the community. Throughout history, the school has been noted for its sense of tradition and academic excellence. The mission of the Science Hill Independent School District is to teach for learning by ALL students, working in a partnership with families and community, in an environment that nurtures that process and assures equity and excellence for all. To achieve this mission, an effective comprehensive curriculum and technological advancement in curriculum will be provided. To ensure strong public relations, effective lines of communication among parents, staff, students, and community will be established. These goals enhance an environment that is clean, safe, and drug free. |
