Requirement: Kentucky Teacher Certification- Special Education-LBD
Responsibilities:
The teacher shall be an ambassador for Spencer County Schools. The teacher shall provide excellent customer service to our students, parents, and community.
The teacher demonstrates applied content knowledge. Communicates concepts, processes, and knowledge. Connects content to life experiences of student. Demonstrates instructional strategies that are appropriate for content and contribute to student learning. Guides students to understand content from various perspectives. Identifies and addresses students’ misconceptions of content. The teacher designs and plans instruction. Plans and implements an education program that is consistent with the SBDM Council’s adopted curriculum. The teacher evaluates teaching and implements professional development. |
