The Muhlenberg County School System serves over 4300 students from Preschool through Grade 12. There are five elementary schools, one middle schools, one high school, an alternative school that serves middle and high school students, and a technology center. We also partner with the Muhlenberg County Career Center in providing education and career training for our students. We are a district committed to excellence in teaching and learning. QUALIFICATIONS:
Kentucky Special Education teaching certificate required. Dual Certification preferred.
Experience and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

Demonstrates proficiency in planning developmentally appropriate, research-based instruction that addresses Kentucky's learning goals and outcomes for
Creates and maintains a learning climate that supports student academic expectations
Implements developmentally appropriate, teaching and learning activities that implement the six learning goals of education reform. |
