1.Instruct FHS students in two-three high school career pathways: flight/aeronautics, aircraft maintenance, and Aerospace Engineering. These pathways have been approved by the Kentucky Department of Education.
2.Provide technical assistance and instruction to students as they implement career pathways.
The Aerospace Education Specialist serves students of Frankfort High School and may have students from surrounding counties. This Position plans, organizes and delivers the program of instruction based on approved curriculum; monitors, evaluates, and communicates student progress; maintains records and makes reports; enforces Board policies, regulations, and rules; supervises students, and secures and maintains school property and materials. |

2. Certificate in Aviation Technology
3. FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certification if conducting ground and flight instruction and maintain Third Class Medical. FAA Basic Ground Instructor Certification if only ground instruction. |
