Anderson County Schools, located in the heart of the Bluegrass in Lawrenceburg, KY, is dedicated to ensuring that all students are safe, reach high academic standards, and act as responsible citizens. Our district consists of six schools: Early Childhood Center (PK-K), Robert B. Turner, Saffell Street and Emma B. Ward elementary schools (grades 1-5), Anderson County Middle School (grades 6-8), and Anderson County High School (grades 9-12). Our staff provides rigorous and relevant educational opportunities for our 3800 students. Responsive to the needs of students, we provide advanced placement, dual-credit, gifted and talented, technical and vocational, and a complete range of special education services. In collaboration with administrators, our school board makes decisions that are always focused on doing what is best for our students. Each day, we strive to provide a safe, caring, and supportive learning environment that honors the uniqueness of every student. |
