The vision of the Greenup County School District is: “The best choice for your education, the best choice for our future.” The District Improvement Plan, which has now taken the form of a “30, 60, 90 Day Plan” was written following the recommendations of a Scholastic Review by personnel from the Kentucky Department of Education in January of 2011. This plan focuses on: 1. District leadership ensuring high quality services to all students, and 2. Accurate evaluations at all levels in the district. Through the proper identification, implementation and monitoring of these areas, student achievement will increase. Our higher academic expectations and outstanding teachers, staff, students, parents, board members and community have enabled Greenup County Schools to accomplish this significant improvement. |
