Paris has a proud tradition dating back to 1866. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Our rich tradition of academic excellence combined with a low student/teacher ratio enables us to provide a private school atmosphere in a public school setting. Adhering to a dress code and strict code of conduct allows students to concentrate on academics. Our district provides the following opportunities: advanced placement and college dual credit courses, Board Examination Sytem, NAF Health Science Academy, gifted education, world languages, vocational programs, athletic programs, band, academic teams, student technology leadership, and after-school and summer opportunities for students. Our high school's 2010 KCCT scores rank 18th in the state and ACT scores rank 36th out of 174 KY school districts. Paris High School was listed in US News and World Report as among the best high schools in the country for 2007 and 2008. |
