Washington County schools are located in one of the most beautiful and historic counties in the state. All schools met their drop out reduction goals set by the state. The Mission statement for Washington County Schools is: In partnership with parents and the community, shall challenge, inspire, and nurture each student to be academically prepared for higher education,advanced technical training, the workforce and to become responsible citizens with a strong work ethic. The District Comprehensive Improvement Plan, which was recently revised, continues to provide guidance and direction for our district. Four schools serve our district - North Washington Elementary(PK-8), Washington County Elementary (PK-5), Washington County Middle School (6-8), and Washington County High School(9-12). Our College and Career Readiness initiative focuses on exposing students to a rigorous curricula and college -level work. "CommandingExcellence For All" is reflected in all we do. |

| Description |
North Washington Elementary is seeking an individual with valid teaching certification and a Master's Degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in teaching to be Part-Time Interventionist for students grades P-8. This person will assist the principal in all areas to provide instructional leadership to staff
including: Curriculum planning, review and implementation; and professional
development. Assist with academic and behavioral needs, including but not limited to
response to intervention. To implement the intervention models to address the needs of
students referred; administer and interpret diagnostic instruments; complete and maintain
appropriate records and reports and make referrals as necessary. Will be an ambassador
for Washington County Schools and commit to offering excellent customer service to
students, parents, and staff. |
