The Jackson County School System, comprised of preschool through 12th grade, believes that all children can learn and will learn at high levels if all stakeholders work together to put children first. A network of parents, community, businesses, and government bodies work together to improve the quality of life for all of our children. Our district makes a strong commitment to prepare students for elementary school through regular kindergarten, and preschool. We also partner with Headstart and house the program in our buildings. Our district is comprised of Jackson County High School, Jackson County Middle School, McKee Elementary, Sand Gap Elementary, Tyner Elementary, and Jackson County Area Technology Center.
