The Livingston County Schools serve a population of slightly over 1200 students. These students attend one of two elementary schools, the middle school, or the 9-12 high school. The faculty and staff of the district are dedicated to ensuring that curriculum, instruction and assessment are purposefully planned and implemented to provide quality educational experiences for all students. A variety of extracurricular activities are provided to help students develop socially. Our district serves students through a plethora of programs such as preschool/Headstart, Extended School Services, Gifted and Talented, Title I, Twenty First Century after-school programming, and Special Education. Quality teachers, administrators and support staff work to enhance student achievement on a daily basis. We are committed to providing each student with the resources and support needed to acquire the skills essential for successful transition from school to the world as a productive citizen. |
